(Considering location I have is suitable for both shops.)Which small business seems more interesting?
I would be more inclined to visit A. You should also check out ediblearrangements.com for some ideas.
I would have to say choice A. The second choice seems to have to many options and that at times can be overwhelming to a consumer.Which small business seems more interesting?
I dont really like either of these ideas, but A is easily the best option.
Ill explain why...
Lets say you start a chicken shop.. You're basically a fancy butchers , except limiting yourself to chicken. If someone wants to buy some chicken but also some beef, they arent going to go to your shoip then go somewhere else for the beef.
They'll just go straight to the butchers and buy the chicken and beef from there.
The fruit shop is the better idea, but you should decide whether you want to be a cafe type place that does smoothies, or whether you want to sell fruit. Smoothie places need a professional counter, seats etc, and this doesn't work when the other half of your shop is just trying to sell loose fruit where people just want to pop in and out.
Pick something specific and go for it. Personally Id suggest a good smoothie place which doesn't try to sell loose fruit at all.
By all means sell prepared fruit salads, and maybe some sandwiches to bring people in at lunch time etc, but make your name by selling really good smoothies
Good luck
Neither - you do not want to invest in something like that, because restaurants have the highest % of failing, and people aren't buying gift baskets with the economy how it is.
Good Luck though!Which small business seems more interesting?
The chicken idea is more quirky
