Is there a way to transfer the gamer tag points on Xbox?

i previously had an Xbox account and recently obtained an Xbox live account. is there a way to trasfer the gamer tag points from the old account to the new xbox live one?

No matter what you mean though, there is no way to move anything between accounts. If you wanted you points on your Xbox Live account, you should have made your offline account into an online one.



Edit: You should be able to sign into your offline account, and then go to the Guide (the bladed pop-up that shows up when you press the center button on the controller). From there choose "Join Xbox Live" and you should be able to choose to use an existing account (your offline one).
