It doesnt matter what games you play to call yourself a true gamer you have to want to play video games during pretty much every asspect of your life and can figure out how you need and want all old %26amp; new games and systems(if you dont allready have) and paying $500 for the PS3 doesnt bother you when they come out with a game you want to play your wait in line if neccessary but dont get me wrong a gamer can have a life outside video games

To be a real gamer you must play Final Fantasy 7 through 10, the Diablo's, the Unreal Tornaments, Black and White, Runescape, All the Grand Theft Auto's (except the PSP version), and the Dynasty Warriors games.
all the final fantasy's but not 10-12 cuse they are crap and at least Counter strike and half life 1 all the other games i dont think makes you a real gamer
Civilization (1-4), Starcraft, Warcraft, M.U.L.E., Bard's Tale,Old Atari games (like Asteroids), Old Intellivision games (like Tron - deadly discs), definitely some MUDs (multi-user dungeons - text only)
