Im not the best at first person shooters, especially CoD's multiplayer, hehehe. Do i need to be a veteran of FPS games to "enjoy" CoD? Mostly online. I would also like to add that i like game modes like team deathmatch, free for all and capture the flag. Oh and im allot better when i work with other players, like zombie mode or team DM.Do i need to be a skilled FPS gamer to enjoy Call of Duty in general?I'm pretty decent at Black ops most days, but when I'm having a bad session, I do tend to get annoyed with myself, so it kind of depends on your temperament.
Play with people you know if possible, I would have given up on CoD months ago if it wasn't what all the people I know playDo i need to be a skilled FPS gamer to enjoy Call of Duty in general?
COD's strong suit is NOT teamwork. It's very much an individual game, even in TEAM deathmatch. If you want a good teamwork experience, you will probably need to invite a few friends who have mics to play with you. Otherwise, you may occasionally stumble upon a few players who know what they're doing. In general, your team will have one or two people who really don't know what they're doing. You could try Battlefield 2 as well, or another game I enjoy (and is also free to play) is Team Fortress 2.Do i need to be a skilled FPS gamer to enjoy Call of Duty in general?well if you like working with other players, then cod isnt a good game for you. pretty much everyone in cod is a lone wolf. i would suggest Battlefield bad company 2, or wait until battlefield 3 releases, those games are all about teamplay. bfbc2 doesnt have a tdm game mode, but bf3 will. i heard that bfbc2 is going to be $20 later this month
Not at all! CoD is pretty much the most casual shooter there is out there, anyone can learn to play quickly and it doesn't take too much skill unless you want it to.
Edit: @Bobby even skilled players have to deal with that crap. It's a flaw in the game that affects everybody, just not new players.Do i need to be a skilled FPS gamer to enjoy Call of Duty in general?Trust me COD online is brutal and frustrating if you are not good. If you dont have the skills to combat all the cheap tubers, commando knifers and quickscopers you will be miserable playing it.Do i need to be a skilled FPS gamer to enjoy Call of Duty in general?
Actually, no. It is fun if you suck. If you hate dying too many times though you might not. But I mean I suck and yet I have fun. Why? I play with friends and we play
Around and make jokes
nope. Cod has been tweaked so that it's casual gamer friendly. this is the reason why it's become so mainstream. you'll be fine.Do i need to be a skilled FPS gamer to enjoy Call of Duty in general?
