How do you become a Professional gamer?

It's weird. To me, it seems like you just gotta play online... A LOT. But then how do you get noticed? do you just have to hope that some day your playing against a WCG gamer or something?How do you become a Professional gamer?it depends on the genre of gaming you're into. but the main thing is tournaments. i know that people can set records for speed runs or high scores in single player games. as far as multiplayer, there are tournaments for fighting games that people can enter. my favorite kind of gaming, however, is first person shooters. those games are team based tournaments in a league called mlg (major league gaming). fps players usually compete in gamebattles (anyone can compete in gamebattles), which is how they rank up and get recognized but only the best that get high places in a tournament are considered "pros".How do you become a Professional gamer?Why settle for playing with a WCG gamer when you yourself can be a WCG gamer at no expense? The key is to know what your skills are and bring them with you in all the tournaments (online and offline) that you can get to. Joining teams/clans will also help you get noticed up until you get to sponsored teams and such.

Get on Gamebattle's and if you have a fan base make a youtube and get a partnership, which gets you money, and basically pays you to make videos .
