Question about Hooters restaurant?

Just recently Hooters opened up a new location in Mesa, Az. At this location, kids eat free on Saturday. I realize that this is to attract business, but what seems funny is that you must remember, Mesa has a large LDS community and there are so many other churches. Being from the Midwest, the churches out here are like bars, one on every corner, including side streets. It just seems like an odd place to hold a Saturday family outing. One more question. Is the food good at Hooters? I heard that the wings are good and the blue cheese burgers sound intriguing. My husband has eaten at Hooters and says that it is the waitresses that bring in the customers and that the food is terrible. Is it worth trying?Question about Hooters restaurant?
They live up to their name draw. It's certainly not the cooks that draw in customers. Do you know why they have the kids eat free day on Saturdays? That's when single dads pick up their kids. They get to drink, enjoy an eyeful, while having their kids with them legally. Most Hooters restaurants are hurting right now. Its all that child support enforcement during tough economic times.

LDS churches on every corner makes Mesa look "good". To mormons.

I fail to see what having a Mormon community in town would have anything to do with this establishment opening up.

Hooters is not a gentleman's club and although it is not a place I generally go to, I have seen lots of women and some kids eating there.

The food is just......OK

I guess you're ok with the Castle Megastore or Infinite Fantasy stores there.......Question about Hooters restaurant?
I've never been, but I've also never heard anyone say it has bad food.

Go if you'd like, it's supposed to be pretty good.
it's on par with tgif's I guess....I've seen plenty of 'families' there.
