So, I went to a brand new restaurant in town, at a location that's known for businesses lasting less than...?

...6 months. the place is known for their burgers. they have a small menu, mostly burgers, and a couple types of sandwhiches. So I go in b/c I'm craving a burger, and the owner and cook are standnig behind the counter, and the third worker is sitting with the owner's mother at the counter, watching TV. So I place my order and the owner says really casually "we're all out of burger". He didn't apologize or offer something else. There are 2 supermarkets less than a 10 minute drive away that sell burgers. there were 4 customers who had already been served and were sitting down eating. So, the place wan't busy at all.

Would this aggravate you , too?So, I went to a brand new restaurant in town, at a location that's known for businesses lasting less than...?

Well, pretty soon there will be yet another business in that location that lasted less than 6 months. Running out of something that basic just guarantees that a potential customer won't be back - and will give their place an appropriate recommendation to all their friends.
