McDonald's Question (just because I would like to know)?

This article came from http://abcnews.go.com/Health/Diet/Story?鈥?/a> This story says McDonald's ranks #8 in healthy fast food. Please read first before you answer. Do you agree with this article or do you disagree? And, have you tried any of the foods mentioned?

McDonald's

14,000 locations nationwide

"Among the big burger-based chains, McDonald's is leading the way in overhauling its menu to offer more heart- and waist-friendly fare. Take the Happy Meals, which you can order with a side of apple dippers (with low-fat caramel) instead of fries and low-fat milk or fruit juice instead of soda. (Now the trick is just getting your kid to go for them!) And if you've gotta have fries, McDonald's are made in a healthy canola-blend oil and come in at just 230 calories for a small. The Grilled Chicken Classic sandwich and wraps are healthy choices, too (just skip the mayo or sauce). So is the salad with Paul Newman low-fat balsamic vinaigrette. Registered dietitian Moore notes that an Egg McMuffin, at 300 calories, is a smart alternative to other "calorie-laden biscuit breakfasts." And our whole panel commends McDonald's for spelling out the nutritional information right on the back of its tray liners.

We love: The chain's 260- to 270-calorie Snack Wraps (choose grilled chicken) for protein without a lot of unwanted carbs.

Danger zone: Although McDonald's made our list, this is still the land of supersizing and giant sodas. It's up to you to request a small."

So, what do you think?

Thanks in advance.... Have a great day!McDonald's Question (just because I would like to know)?
Yes, I agree that McDonald's has some healthy options.

I have tried: the apple dippers, small fries, Grilled Chicken Classic sandwich, and salad with NO dressing. The Egg McMuffin is my favorite breakfast sandwich.

If you don't supersize and don't over-indulge, McDonald's can be a healthy place to eat.
Their portions are smaller, lol, try one of their miniture yogurts, it's like something used in a doll house,

They are cooking with better oil (their fries) so maybe they are "technically' the healthiest fast food chain. Both they and BK have added Apple Slices.McDonald's Question (just because I would like to know)?
The yogurt parfait is good, but too sweet; the apple dippers taste chemical, there's way too much mayo on the snack wrap, and while I'm complaining, what's with the coffee? I'd like to sweeten and lighten my own, thank you.
yes this is true.i have had their salads, grill chicken wraps and their fruit bowls.i think they are great.my dog still loves their burgers, but she don't know any better.McDonald's Question (just because I would like to know)?
There are things there that are healthier, absolutely. And it's the customer who gets the large order of pop and fries, so you can't really blame McD's (or any other fast food place) for that.

I guess my problem is that the healthier stuff costs so much more. $7 for a grilled chicken sandwich meal when you can get 2 double cheeseburgers, small fries and small drink for $3. When you're broke and eating out, the price of the healthier stuff can be a put off. The snack wraps are tiny (although delicious) and cost $2.
