No, China is not Americanized. There are a number of American companies doing business in China, just as there are a number of other international companies doing business. No one forces these companies to come to China . . . they come in the hopes of making more money. Is that American? Or is that human nature?

Additionally, not every city in China has the companies who do business in China. I live in China's northwest and we have KFC. That's it. We are able to buy several of the products sold in China (such as Coke and Pepsi), but most of the companies who come to China prefer to stay in the large coastal regions.

I've listed the corrections to your assumptions below. I'm an American who lives in China and while I could be wrong on some of these, I generally have a good idea of who does business in the country. I've lived in China for over eight years and I've been watching its development for over 20 years.

You appear to have listed every company that you could find in the phone book. Besides the restaurants, very few of the companies that you mentioned have any presence in China. KFC has 2,000+ restaurants in China and McDonalds has 1,000+ in China. There is no Exxon, CVS, Wells Fargo, etc in China.

Most of the consumer products sold in America were "Made in China". Most American-based companies only do design and marketing in the United States. Their manufacturing is performed by foreign sub-contractors. For example, all of Apple Computer's products are manufactured by Taiwanese-owned Foxconn Technology in Mainland China. There hasn't been a "Made in America" television or telephone for at least 25 years.

It is import to know what you are talking about before opening your mouth, otherwise you look like an idiot and the entire world is staring at you.Is china completely americanized?
China is not Americanized as much as Canada or British is Americanized, even Korea is more Americanized than China.

Everyone wants to become American.
these are just some companies , china is still very Chinese . we have our own culture and most companies in china are native .
