You could just straight up ask her if she wants to play some video games with you and if that doesn't work try getting games that are more like mario games and just dance or dance central games most of the time girls love those. Then after awhile try to ask her if she wants to try and play a round on CoD or Halo. One suggestion is maybe she'll like splosion man or super meat boy something of that kind. Try to find a game she might be interested in. What are her hobbies and interests? Find a game that revolves around that. Gradually, after she starts playing these games (either alone or with you), you can start to turn her onto other games.

Likely, your girlfriend will not want to play games like Call of Duty or Modern Warfare.
From personal experience, I've noticed that girls tend to enjoy games where they can customize how their characters look. For instance, Fable 3 allows huge outfit and hair customization. This may sound like I'm stereotyping, but stereotypes due come from something that's essentially valid. Girls also tend to enjoy fighter games for some reason. Games like Soul Caliber and Mortal Kombat. Don't know why. They just do.

Try bribing her. Say something like, "if you can beat me at this game, I'll do this for you. If I win, you do this." Girls tend to be anti-competitive, but it may work.

You could always say something really sweet like, "But baby, playing it together could help us bond! Or, I want to play it with, we could have so much fun together." Jell-o.

hmm... my wife was not a gamer at all. But I noticed she did play games sometimes online, I have slowly evolved my wife into a gamer by trying to start her out on console games similar to her facebook games (I.e she used to play bejeweled online so i showed her Hexic HD on the 360, she loved it.) She likes to play strategy board games like Chess, and risk. (mostly turn based.) So I introduced her to Turn based strategies like the "Heroes of Might and Magic" Series (She loved it.). I slowly brought her onto real time strategies that were similar to Heroes like "Age of Empires" (She loved it.) After I got her to realize that she did like certain video games and that they could be enjoyable she opened up to my suggestions for her to try new games. She now loves the Halo Series, Resident Evil 5, Sid Meirs Civ, HOMM V, Dynasty Warriors, Mass Effect, Rainbow 6 Vegas 2, and many more. I would say try to get her to play games that have similarities to things she likes, start with that one genre and slowly bleed it over into other genres that have similar games, then once she starts playing more she should be open to trying new things :).How do i turn my girl into a gamer?
i guess you just need to play games when she is not around or BUY A Wii its targeted on women and lower teens and kids ! when she comes in change the video output to wii

she is angry because of the girls in games you know games like bayonetta,TR,Hitman: Absolution (just saw the trailer),gta all contain sexy girls so that might be the real reason

you can play tekken with her and beat the **** out of her
Get her to play sims on pc, then if she is going to enjoy it start introducing the expansions.

After that give her a go at roller coaster tycoon or sim city (or some other simulation game)

than give her to play indie games

after that some rpg

and finally she would pick her self a mmorpg (eg. WoW)

And so your girlfriend by that time would be more of a geek in computers than you, and would dump you for a virtual life and a virtual boyfriend
