Do you agree about this part of the Cola Wars?

I've noticed that places with huge market shares (McDonald's, Subway, Wendy's, Burger King) tend to have Coca-Cola products while Pepsi markets itself towards smaller places. By smaller places I mean places which may be widespread but don't blanket the map with locations (for example, Panera), as well as family run places.

This is not a perfect model, but it is what I've noticed.

I explained this to a friend last night, and he insisted that it's determined by region while I said that the Pepsi/Coke decision was made the corporate level.Do you agree about this part of the Cola Wars?
No, Pepsi also markets to huge, huge businesses. They are international and sell into large market-share corps, just like Coke. They have practically the same business-model and hold equal market share to Coke.Do you agree about this part of the Cola Wars?
hmmmm sounds interesting

all i know is that disney theme parks get all of there coca-cola for free

i dont know when that plan originated but i think that coca-cola getts free product placement in return throughout the park

back stage at disney land (which i've been to about 50 times in the past 3 years) sells coca cola drinks far cheaper to employees a can of coke back stage cost 80 cents and bottle 1.25 and it is far high once you return to the park

make of that info what you want

all i know is that disney land makes a crap load of proffit everytime you buy a drink from anyone of there parks and i gurantee all you'll see at disney theme parks is coca colaDo you agree about this part of the Cola Wars?
In terms of cola market share, Coke has won and Pepsi is only lagging behind. What you have mentioned is the distribution of coke and till today -remains unchallenged.

Pepsi are in KFC, Pizza Hut and some other outlets they owned. But, in terms of market share they are nowhere near Coke.

However, Pepsi CO does own some shares of Coke so if you want to really trace the cola wars, I would think Pepsi might have won!!
