How would i go about becoming a pro gamer?

I see all these things about people who play games and get payed for a living and i was just wondering how i can do this also how old do i have to be?How would i go about becoming a pro gamer?I think it's age 13 with parents consent on M rated games. Play local tournaments and stuff online. Also you have to be amazing, like a 50 in halo or max prestige in COD.How would i go about becoming a pro gamer?Think you should be about 18 for travelling purposes and what not. But also play a large variety of games and get good at all like racing fighting and shooting because in tournaments they do all of that. And you have to enter tournaments and get into big popular gaming clans on the games you play. But I think you need to practice a lot and play a lot. Playing in tournaments is like tournament play in anything else - karate, hula hooping, kickball, etc. You just have to be really good and enter a lot of them (a LOT) to make a name for yourself. The prize money is part of it but a lot of the money people make doing that stuff comes from sponsorships.



Play testing is a bit different and while it sounds great at first glance it involves playing one game all day long, getting into every nook and cranny looking for bugs and doing so over and over again. It can get really really tedious.
