I think my boss is trying to make me quit?

I've been working at this company for a year, I repeatedly requested more normal hours and the occasional weekend off, which I haven't received however, she has seen fit to give it to people who have been working here 3 months. I also requested to be moved from this location because there is zero chance to make target and therefor zero chance of getting bonuses for such. I told her about a co-worker's breech of security and she told the co-worker it was me and now I have an openly hostile working environment. I'm full time but she's cut my hours to the point of where 'm afraid I'm going to lose my health insurance which is the only reason I'm still at this shitty job, I'm the ONLY person she cut hours for and actually gave EXTRA hours to the part time guy.

I'm a good employee and consistantly do my part to ensure the store reaches tartget (but since others don't or just through bad luck we never do), I've even been the number 1 consultant on the ENTIRE west coast TWICE in 4 months. So I'm not some shitty employee she's trying to get rid of.

This job has me so stressed out that I'm getting stress headaches everyday and if I can't keep my insurance there is no point to staying, but the economy makes it very hard to find anything else, I don't even care if I'd be flipping burgers (which is a great use of my BA) I just can't stand the thought of working here anymore.

My grandparents suggested I make a complain to HR about her behavior but I'm not sure if that would do any good. I feel torn between the "in this economy any job is better than no job" and the complete misery that this job is turning my life into (I haven't been able to go out since November since I don't get weekends off ever).

Any advice is greatly apperecated.I think my boss is trying to make me quit?
How do you know that a complaint to HR would go unanswered? Have you tried? Since you have not, you can't know for sure. You might even be surprised that some people with authority in your place of employment think your boss is out of line.

It sucks to hear but you need to take charge of this situation and nobody else will do it for you. In a tactful manner, speak to your boss about your concerns. She may dislike your "success" because she is insecure. If that's the case, approach her carefully so you don't ruffle any more feathers.

Address your boss' lie to those fellow employees whom you consider "hostile." Don't take this whole thing lying down. There are people higher up than your boss and if need be, speak directly to them. One way or another, you need to grab the reins and take some control.
thats so mean :(

try your best to show him that your worth keepingI think my boss is trying to make me quit?
this might be hard but work some weekends and show her that your the best employee.
If she has no written counseling on you, explaining her actions, then yes I'd talk to HR about clearing this up or a position change.I think my boss is trying to make me quit?
Leave it then,go on the dole.
