Man, I thought that happy star was the place, but I am beginning to see that it no longer is. Their burgers used to be so good, you know, truly charbroiled, and there was this delicious seasoning taste to it as well, but now that's all gone. It's like not only has all the food gone mass produced, but also rotten. Sometimes even the burgers come out raw. And shame that they try and compete with others. I mean, they have great advertising, but their food is not any good. Do any of you guys think also? Their old fries were good. These new fries are yucky. Also, for those that have Green Burrito, please do not get the Steak Burrito. The steak is not genuine Carne Asada. It's only an imitation to steak.
Anyway, just thought I'd let all this out. Ive gone to different Carl's Jr. locations, and sadly they are all coming up with the same taste in their burgers.Do you guys like Carl's Jr.?
I worked there for four years and I think that the food is pretty good, even though I got tired of it from eating it so much.
I think the main problem (with the store I worked at anyways) was the service. During the morning and daytime hours, employees are faster and they actually care more about service. Night shift, however, was extremely slack because there was barely any business and the employees were slow at doing their jobs because of not having to do it as much as day shift and get any practice.
At the store I worked at, customers waited at the drive-thru window for at least 6 minutes on just one combo. If they have to wait in the drive-thru for that long, then there's no point in the restaurant even having one. It completely defeats the purpose. Because of the bad service, there was barely any business, so it's pretty much a vicious cycle.
Then the GM decided that the solution to this problem is to only have one cashier working both the drive-thru and front line while having to clean the entire dining room (including bathrooms) and close down the front-line all by their self in order to save payroll. Even if the cashier was a good one, whenever we would actually get some business, they were by their self running back and forth between front line and drive-thru to take care of every customer, which resulted in bad service not being the customers' or the employee's fault. Along with that, since most of the cooks were slow at their jobs, there would be only one (slow) cook making all the food that was ordered (in order to save payroll due to lack of business). Having to make a lot of food at one time results in a longer wait for the customers.
The restaurant itself is located at the intersection of two main roads, so that can't be the reason for lack of business during nighttime hours. During breakfast hours, the store usually made from $1200 to $2200 from 5am to 11am. At night, from $400-$800 between the hours of 2pm and 10pm. Huge difference, huh?
Well, last I had them they were pretty good, but that was a couple months ago at a fairly low-traffic franchise. That was also a Six-Dollar burger, so they probably had higher quality. Maybe it is your local franchises or something, but here in Oregon they're still about as good as Wendy's or Sonic.Do you guys like Carl's Jr.?
Kinda,But there quality is dropping by a lot.It used to be awesome now its like a Landfill.
There burgers fries everythings quality is dropping.
When I was in the military, I used to eat there almost everyday. But know that I'm vegetarian, I avoid that place like the plague.Do you guys like Carl's Jr.?
