Why can't McDonald's, Burger King be consistent at every location?

What I mean, you should be able to go to any location, any state and expect the same burger you order to be made the same and taste the same, but they are not, they use the same food, the same way of cooking and preparing it, but the taste and quality is different at every location. The consumer expects consistency, don't any of the CEO's of these major fast food businesses understand that basic and simple concept?Why can't McDonald's, Burger King be consistent at every location?
I love biscuits and gray from hardees, but they are never prepared the same. I think it depends on the help following directions. Or, sometimes they try to cut costs.

Well i strongly believe that when a company has so many employees and establishments around the globe, there will be misunderstandings. This leads to an internal competition in which every franchise wants to be the best. Trainees are then often taught similar but ever so often complementary things.
Heck I'll tell you why the McDonald Quarter Pounder tastes different here in Australia it's because they put beet on it. YUK and some places even put egg and beet, so quit complaining about the US McDonalds and eat up, cause at least you aren't getting beet on yours. Oh Yeah and by the way, they do get what you order correct here.

CEOs do understand. Robots are not making your food, people are!
Some of them are actual chains and others are owned and operated by individuals. So not all of them taste the same which does suck. We have soo many and none of them are ever the same the next time around. We just take what we get.
