Why are do some Burger Kings charge more money depending on location?

The one up the street from my house is a dollar less then the one that is next to where I work.Why are do some Burger Kings charge more money depending on location?
It has to do with the local economics of the restaurant location. A BK in a rich area may charge more than a BK in a low-income area. Nontheless, Whoppers are awesome and worth the price =0)
Although Burker King is owned by a corporation, each individual store is franchised out to an individual owner. This owner is allowed to make some changes such as pricing and menu items.Why are do some Burger Kings charge more money depending on location?

Costs. Higher taxes, higher transportation costs, utilities, etc.
i think its the sale tax
Because our economy sucks.

And they are allowed to charge different prices.

Depends on the area, how busy it is, etc.
Overhead, and savvy owners.
