Are they allowed to open McDonalds in school cafetarias?

can fast food franchises like Taco Bell, KFC, Burger King, Subway and McDonalds open locations inside school cafetarias?

They don't open a full-scale store, but my school had a pizza hut stand that served 4 different types of mini-pizzas and 6 different sodas.



I also know of a few school that have taco bell and subway. Never heard of McDonald's though.



But I wouldn't put it past them.



The goal is that the pizza hut opens inside the school and they give a percentage of the profits TO the school. Its a way for schools to make much needed money by selling crappy food to students. It works on the same principle as vending machines. the school lets them market their products to minors, and in exchange they keep a margin of the profits.
I have heard of some fast food franchises opening up a stand in some larger schools. Its not a popular idea tho because of the problem with obesity and poor nutrtion among school-age children and teens.



I imagine it takes quite a bit for the restraunt to get approved to open up, the school would have to benefit from it somehow, and Im sure the school board and PTA would also have to approve it.Are they allowed to open McDonalds in school cafetarias?
no i dont think so but like people dont want kids to be like over weight and stuff so probably not i mean if you give the school board something to talk about yes prob but, in fact you didnt give them a good reason like "we like fast food" then no you wouldnt be able to have a place like that......so if you want a place like that in your school or something..... give the school board something to talk about.....
Not full sized fast food restraunts on campus, no. But yeah, they can vend foods to schools. On Tuesdays and Thursdays Boston's Pizza delivers pizza, salads, sodas, juice, and gatorade to the students. It's pretty expensive though. $4.50 for a soda and a slice of pizza!!!Are they allowed to open McDonalds in school cafetarias?
im not sure if they can, but its not good idea. the news talks a lot about obesity and healthy food in schools is the answer so i doubt they would let fast food in schools. but if money is involved pretty much anything is possible...
I have a subway and burger king at my school. I never eat lunch at school though.
It depends on what district your school is in.
