Anyone eat at Burger king in St.Pete FL Gateway on 2/23/07?
Me and my family were traveling home from a trip to Disney and we had nothing to eat that day so we stopped at a Burger King in Saint Petersburg FL Gateway shopping plaza ..we don't eat fast food because its very unhealthy but we were very hungry, shortly after arriving home about 20 min later all four of us started to throw up and sorry, had diarrhea..I do not think it was anything we ate the previous day, and this was for breakfast, any of you eat at this location and experience this?..or any other BK restaurants recently? who should I call to have a look at this place? and should we see the doctor?

My sister dreamed of opening one in the Denver area. After some research she found out they are not a francise but family owned. She was really bummed. Everytime she travels back to California she eats there twice a day, while in town. She is now living in Alaska and will be bummed to hear she missed them building one closer to her old home in Colorado. I think In-n-out could be the biggest fast food place and the most popular if they would just expand more. My Bad Experience at Burger King..What was yours?
I went to burger king around 9-10 pm when it was very slow (I was the only customer) I ordered a burger , chicken sandwich, 2 tacos and a fries. The total was around 5 dollars. The Burger I got was cold (not even warm), the chicken in the sandwich was old and very hard when I took the first bite and the lettuce was dark black at the edges, the 2 tacos I didnt even touch after I observed the cashier handling cash putting the cheese in my taco (GROSS!!)..I did not go back to get a refund because money is not the principal. It's about the manager not observing the workers (For quality service)- I plan on calling the corporate offices now because it's not the first time I got cold/not warm food from this location..1 word to sum up Burger King? You should make it a point to have them give you fresh food, because the franchise owner is obligated to meet basic standards in order to maintain the franchise. There is motivation to make things right if you press things enough.

I like burger king, cheap and quick food. If you had a bad experience you should deal with it with the manager in store, if not for your money, then so that the standards improve for other customers.
I don't do BK. I got a cheese burger with out a top bun once. But the worst experience was i went through the drive thru and ordered a whopper. my wife and i pulled over to get the order straight and my whopper had a bite taken out of it. Totally gross. we brought our food and our kids food back, and have not returned, that was 3 years ago. Say NO to BK.
Aside from the consistently slooooowww and painfully stupid employees, there was one time I was intrigued by this special double western jalapeno something or other burger, but I didn't want a double. I ordered that burger, but asked if I could get it just as a single. Apparently this was too complicated a request for them. The burger is a double, and they can't change it. So I left. So much for "Have it your way." Ah, it's just as well; Burger King always gives me gas anyway.
Actually, our bad fast food experience was from MacDonald's years ago. We bought a bunch of those little cheap burgers..were feeding 6 of us. Got home, opened bags and the burgers smelled like a dead animal. The meat must've been bad.

either way i havent had a bad exp. at a bk....but have have some at mickey d's...but have heard about some about bk. i try to stay away from those places if it aiont busy. at 10 at night your gettin dinner leftovers, i feel there not supervised at that time of night like they are in the rush hour times.
i also never take my food back....u never know what they will do to it in the back...yuck.

The castle has a perfect name and the picture is really stunning. In a nutshell, it's the castle of my dreams and it fits perfectly in my novel which, hopefully, I'll finish and get it published. I know you can use McDonalds or Burger King in your story, how about a location?

On Tuesdays and Thursdays Boston's Pizza delivers pizza, salads, sodas, juice, and gatorade to the students. While I assume the Moo was originally conceived as your "kids meal" offering, it is just the right amount of food for almost any hungry adult (and more than enough for a child). The rest of your menu features football sized burritos that dwarf even the most pig-headed burger chain's "Supersize Me" entrees.

Now I feel estranged and empty.

Why do I get sick every time I eat at Burger King?
I like Burger King's chicken fries and chicken sandwiches but EVERY time I eat them I end up vomiting shortly after. When I eat their burgers I have almost unbearable cramping and diarrhea. After a while and a few different BK locations I had to stop eating there. I eat at other fast food places without problems so I am wondering if it is something specific that they put in their food that other places don't that is making me sick. It's been a long time since I ate at a BK- until this morning. I ate a breakfast combo there this morning and I'm sick. I feel like throwing up but I can't- it just burns(and has been for several hours) and I have cramps but am unable to have a bowel movement. If anybody could tell me what meds to take for this or at least why I'm sick I would really appreciate it.Why do I get sick every time I eat at Burger King?

Hi, I'm opening a burger restaurant in a tropical location and need a name. The concept is going to be high quality (meat ground fresh and french fries made daily, housemade ice cream for shakes, etc). CHICAGO (AP) -- Burger King franchisees sued the hamburger company this week over its $1 double cheeseburger promotion, saying they're losing money on the deal and the company can't set maximum menu prices.The National Franchise Association, a group that represents more than 80 percent of Burger King's U.S. franchise owners, said the $1 promotion forces restaurant owners to sell the quarter-pound burger with at least a 10-cent loss.
While costs vary by location, the $1 double cheeseburger typically costs franchisees at least $1.10, said Dan Fitzpatrick, a Burger King franchisee from South Bend, Ind. who is a spokesman for the association. That includes about 55 cents for the cost of the meat, bun, cheese and toppings as well as 45 cents that typically covers expenses such as rent, royalties and worker wages.
"New math, or old math, the math just doesn't work," Fitzpatrick said.
After testing the $1 deal in markets across the country, the discounted burger went on sale nationwide last month even though franchise owners, who operate 90 percent of the company's 12,000 locations, twice rejected the product because of its expense.
"The current management team has disregarded rights that Burger King franchisees have always had," Pennsylvania franchise owner Steve Lewis said in a statement.
Denise Wilson, a spokeswoman for the nation's No. 2 hamburger chain, said the Miami restaurant company believes the litigation is "without merit," particularly after an earlier appeals court ruling this year showing the company had a right to require franchise owners to participate in its value menu promotions.
Restaurants, especially fast-food chains, have been slashing menu prices because of the poor economy. Executives hope the deeply discounted deals will bring in diners who are spending less when they eat out, or opting to stay home altogether.
When the $1 double cheeseburger was announced this fall, analyst said it could increase restaurant visits by as much as 20 percent. But despite that boost, a Deutsche Bank analyst said as much as half of the gain recorded from increased traffic could be lost because customers were spending less when they ordered food.

Sounds like the complaint is reasonable, but I have no sympathy for fast food vendors.
Businesses often sell promoted items at a low or negative profits to bring in customers. In this case, BK is banking on the hopes most people will buy additional items, such as fries and a drink - which have a much higher profit margins.
A large soda costs the company maybe 25 cents- with most of that cost being the cup. That's why the offer free refills.

There is the one in Haleiwa and then I saw one at the Ward center. Is one better than the other? Or are they both equally the same? Sure, others have suggested Teddy's Big Burgers and Cheeseburger in Paradise... BUT I'm really interested in trying Kua Aina Burgers this time around and really need to know your which location is the better to go to. Perhaps you have tried both or know someone else who has.

Me and a couple of my friends like to have shootouts with the cops on GTA IV, while we hide in buildings and such. But, we are having trouble finding other places to go. Here is a list of the places we already have cop shootouts at:

umm,if u have unlocked ALL the cities, then there is a GROTTI automobile shop where u can go.......(it's in ALBANY STREET IN ALGOUENI) (not sure abt the spelling) at nights around 8 o'clock this store will be closed so no one will be able to get inside. Then u can get into the shop by breaking the windows and then jump in....... but THE GOOD THING about it is that the cops won't be able to get in caz they cannot jump in,so have a little game wiv the cops from inside, if u r not sure about the address, ( it's very close to ur third safehouse) the third safe house is the one that roman calls u and tells u that he bought u a new place...\

Hey, im 18 years old college students, and have zero job experiences (never job before). I have recently applied to places like Walgreen, AMC theaters, and Safeway like a day ago. Out of all three, i felt that the only interview i might get is from AMC because the lack of job experience. So, I was thinking of applying to burger king, but because of the bad reps i have heard, should i not. Though, this burger king is very convenient and I really like the location because it's near my house, compare with AMC, the burger king's location is way better. Plus, it is burger king, so my chance of getting hired is still better than the previous three. So i was thinking should i not be picky and just apply for burger king.Should i work at burger king!!?

I'm getting the mask, but I need the robes and the likes. I'm fairly certain that Burger King doesn't sell any liscensed things, but, I'm wondering if there are any costumes people have made, or that look like his.

As far as his shirt goes, you could fashion a vest out of velvet fabric %26amp; embellish that in a "royal" manner with gems, gold thread - all glued on, no sewing involved. For the shorts, get a dark pair of swim trunks. I hope any of this helps!!!

There is a burger stand I went to a few years ago I believe around the SLO-Los Osos area that had all kinds of exotic meat burgers; elk, deer, buffalo, bear, ostrich and so on. I've looked online several times, but I can never find any reference to it. The location might even be up or down the coast a little. I applied at a burger king close to my house a few months ago. Today I got a phone call from burger king and a woman told me to come in for an interview tomorrow. Then she proceeded to tell me the location, which was a burger king an hour (bussing) away from my house. I was surprised so I just asked, (name of location)?, and she was like yeah, do you not want the job and I was like oh umm yes i do and then the phone call ended. So now I'm wondering if this interview if for the location that its at, which makes more sense... or if its for the one I actually applied to, because I know some places do their interviews at a different location. Call first thing in the morning and ask to speak to the woman who you were supposed to be contacting. Tell her that you were a bit confused about whether the job is at the location closer to you or at the other location.
If it is the other location, simply tell her that although you would love to be able to work there, because of the distance needed to travel by bus to the other location, you feel you would be unable to manage getting down there in time for shifts due to school commitments.
Ask her if it would be possible to keep your application in for the other location as you still would like to work, but because of travel time, must try to keep close to home as school remains your first priority.

I have been there many times and have never encountered the service that he describes. I was just in Vegas this weekend for the Mayweather/Hatton fight and went to the Burger Bar on Saturday afternoon. The restaurant was crowded, but we received excellent service. There is a nice set of identical twin waitresses there who were very good and attentive.
Moving on, my favorite is the,,,
Turkey Burger
w/grilled onions and pepperjack cheese
lettuce, tomato, and whatever else you may want
on Chubata bread (sp?)
The onion rings are the very best I have ever had.
Great restaurant, and I go there every time I travel to Vegas. Been there 5 times this year alone.
Another great restaurant is Border Grill at Mandalay Bay. Very good Mexican food. Authentic.

Customer reviews on this site saying how nice it was, but in the end it was the terrible,AWEFUL service I received that made it such a let down. First off do an early lunch or you will wait.... a long time. Next, don't sit at the bar on the far side. No one is dedicated to working that side. I was waited on by at least 4 different people and none of them came back to see if I need anymore help. I ordered a rootbeer float and was never afforded the opportunity to get anything else to drink. The menu is incredible and the options great.... I ordered the Kobe Beef with a little blue cheese, I wanted to keep it simple to taste the beef. Although I ordered medium-rare it was more on the rare side,not a problem for a true meat eater, but you should get what you want. It took a long time to get my food, as did others sitting on that side. 2 gentlemen sitting a couple seats down were just about to pay for thier drinks and leave. None of the waiters asked if we wanted dessert, which is just a doughnut cut in half with toppings, but it would have been nice to have the option. Lastly I had to yell at some poor guy to get his attention so I could pay my bill. No appologies from anyone and none seemed to care. Where are the protests? Where are the actions to correct it? Why do we just accept the idea that traffic death is normal???

Where can I get the best steak, pizza, and burger in Chicagoland?
I'm a frequent visitor, and I'm IN LOVE with Giordano's, Hecky's, and Max and Erma's, but I'm always up for more recommendations. Price is no issue. I frequent Schaumburg, but location is no issue either.
I'm not looking for national chains, though. I want some holes in the walls and local chains.

Kennedy Airport in New York. Then it's Carl's Junior, and you can get that anywhere.

When I was 16, (in1963) I worked at a drive-inn restuarant in Huntsville AL. at a place called Mugs Up. They sold Root Beer and fries and hamburgers They had two locations on the Memorial Parkway. Years later they apparently fell on hard times and closed both locations. What I remember most, was how good their Zip Burgers were. What I remember about these hamburgers was the fact the meat was boiled, not fried. When the meat was nearly cooked they added a package of some kind of dry package spices. These spices were not hot at all but gave this burger it's great flavor. This was not what we call today a Sloppy Joe or S.O.S. I would appreciate anyone having this recipe sharing it with me. Sorry to be a downer but it isn't likely... it will take years for the company to expand that far. In-N-Out is all about freshness so they deliver product to each store everyday. For example, in Southern California, they send out their buns from Puritan Bakery, and for all areas (Southern CA, Northern CA %26amp; Arizona) they have their own butcher centers where highly qualified people make sure only the best possible meat is used %26amp; that everything is extremely clean. A possible new store would have to be close enough to an existing center (which supplies the meat, cheese %26amp; sauce) before they can move forward with it.
Maybe as time goes on they will expand over towards you and more centers will be built. I hope one day you can experience a fresh INO burger in your hometown!
Currently they only build in places that can grow palm trees as this is their symbol, I hope they decide to expand to a nationwide chain as well but I am not in charge

They don't seem to worry themselves with keeping it stocked. You order it by asking for "the BK veggie."
It's tasty! and even better, its cheap!! If you want a combo, simply ask for a veggie burger meal... if not, just ask for the veggie burger. Its the morningstar brand and yes, its ALL vegetarian :) Most stores have the veggie burger haha I've never been to one that doesn't.

I am sure it depends on location. I go to two different BK's here, and they are actually some of the nicest, most pleasant food service employees I've ever talked to. I've even written in to one of them to compliment the service because it was surprisingly exceptional. They always smile and greet me, never forget to ask about sauce, don't seem at all affected if I ask for something extra at the window, and actually seem sincere when they tell me to have a nice day. You get almost minimal pay and they treat you like crap. most places you get paid by-weekly witch totally sucks big time. I used to work there for a total of about 4 hrs. I hated it to death and im glad im out of there. I make enough now that i work one week would make up over the paycheck i got from there in the two weeks.

YUK and some places even put egg and beet, so quit complaining about the US McDonalds and eat up, cause at least you aren't getting beet on yours. At Burger King you're not meant to sit back and relax for an hour, you're meant to sit, eat, and leave, 20 minutes tops. With beer you will just make Burger King more crowded with less seats available to sit and eat your meal. Burger King would have to change their seats since they are hard seats because no one is going to want to sit on them for more than it takes to scarf down your Whopper. And it isn't one of the last places to bring your family, there's still McDonalds, Jack in the Box, Carl's Jr, Taco Bell, Long John's Silvers, Panda Express, Wendy's, etc.

I choose not to drink and that is my personal preference. However, I am not so arrogant to think that others shouldn't be able to drink if they so choose. Well, it's a good way for them to make money, and a lot of people do enjoy beer with their meals. As long as they make sure to sell only to overage customers [and hopefully not through the drive thru], then what's the problem? Maybe they'll limit a customer to only a few beers, so they don't get too drunk. Chuckee Cheese serves beer, and they don't have any problems with that. I'm sure you'll be able to find another restaurant to take your family to.
Lots of slow food restaurants serve alcohol, and when you go there do you constantly get drunk people coming over to your table and bothering you? No. So why would it be any different at a fast food place?
It's not a great idea. Fast Food Restaurants want you in and out, and as a customer you really don't want to hang out at a BK very long. So, slam two quick beers and on the road. I really never go there, at least inside the restaurant. I imagine BK is thinking it will boost business late at night.
So this is a $$$ issue for BK, I seriously don't think it will spread throughout the U.S. It could be that this Miami location is doing it in part due to the tourism and beach dwellers in the summer. I can't see many places doing it.

And it isn't one of the last places to bring your family, there's still McDonalds, Jack in the Box, Carl's Jr, Taco Bell, Long John's Silvers, Panda Express, Wendy's, etc.

theres a thing called a BAR that you go to drink lots. Nothing wrong with having a beer with your meal, they do it in countries all across Europe.

I question why you would be so upset with someone having a beer with their hamburger. You could take your family 3 miles down the road to a different BurgerKing. Also, I frequently eat at restaurants that serve alcohol even though I don't drink myself. I've never been bothered by anyone who was enjoying an alcoholic beverage with their meal. Are you perhaps getting restaurants confused with bars %26amp; nightclubs?
I choose not to drink and that is my personal preference. However, I am not so arrogant to think that others shouldn't be able to drink if they so choose. I think our country is on a slippery slope because too many people feel that their personal beliefs and opinions should apply to everyone. (Okay, I'm off my soapbox for now...)
I don't think it is a bad idea. There are a lot of people that enjoy a beer with their meal. I guess if you don't like the idea you can always choose another high dollar classy restaurant to take your family.

Next you, like so many others will want them to hire people to stand at your table, while you and your family are trying to eat your meal,and quote the Bible . Well, it's a good way for them to make money, and a lot of people do enjoy beer with their meals. As long as they make sure to sell only to overage customers [and hopefully not through the drive thru], then what's the problem? Maybe they'll limit a customer to only a few beers, so they don't get too drunk. Chuckee Cheese serves beer, and they don't have any problems with that. I'm sure you'll be able to find another restaurant to take your family to.
Lots of slow food restaurants serve alcohol, and when you go there do you constantly get drunk people coming over to your table and bothering you? No. So why would it be any different at a fast food place?
It's not a great idea. Fast Food Restaurants want you in and out, and as a customer you really don't want to hang out at a BK very long. So, slam two quick beers and on the road. I really never go there, at least inside the restaurant. I imagine BK is thinking it will boost business late at night.
So this is a $$$ issue for BK, I seriously don't think it will spread throughout the U.S. It could be that this Miami location is doing it in part due to the tourism and beach dwellers in the summer. I can't see many places doing it.
I'd say it does sound ridiculous.
